I didn't say that Pac10 was the best conference... just that they weren't "shit ass." The top of the Pac10 is pretty damn strong. I would put USC or Oregon up against the top of any other conference.

USC would have preferred Oregon State to have gone to the Rose Bowl... then they could have had a chance to play against a top SEC or Big 12 team, rather than pounding a weak-ass PennState team into the ground :yawn:.

The Pac 10 is weaker than the Big 10. Oregon isnt anything to fear by any stretch of the imagination. Id put the Pac 10 amongst the ranks of the Big East.

Although I'd venture a guess that any one of the Big Ten teams could pound Washington or Washington State, Ohio State is the only good team in that conference.

I'll admit that the Big Ten is pretty terrible these days but I'd like to point out that Purdue took Oregon to overtime earlier this year. The Big Ten has some a mostly mediocre teams (Michigan state, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa) and they were all overmatched in bowl games this year.
