You are partially correct.
I think they were stoned when they painted it (when aren't they stoned?).
It actually came out okay from what they did accomplish. As I recall, they took a break to go smoke a bong, then forgot what they were supposed to complete.
I think I just shook my head...finished the job and cleaned the brushes.
You can't expect a useless stoned baggy-pants punk to professionally clean a $30 Purdy brush?
