The Grand Canyon (pics from my trip)

visited both the North rim and the South Rim last year, here are some pics!

    Utah/Arizona border:

Here is the journey down to the Southern Rim of the Canyon (this was a 5 hour ride or so)

The Next day at the Southern Rim:

This truck was driven by a sketchy looking dude, who pulled in, stood up and walked down over the hood of it. It was awesome.

well that's it! the northern rim offered better views (1000ft higher than southern rim). both were amazing, also the northern rim was much less visited and therefore less touristy. seeing this in person is unreal. you realize how gnarly it is and how small we are. go see it before you die!

I was there on the 27th of last month. I have a lot of your South Rim shots, but with a hefty blanket of snow. I'll post some up, maybe in here.

I've been there three times. Just driving around (from Montreal), once with my motorcycle, once with my 2002 and again with my H23. The Grand Canyon, in my opinion, is the most beautifull landscape in the world. It is something that everyone should see at least once in a lifetime. I even told my GF that the day I die, I want my ashes to be brought to the Grand Canyon and dispersed there.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

This is a federal crime and your GF could spend some good time in Club Fed for doing so....

The Grand Canyon is one of them.

I was gonna tell him the same thing, then remembered he is a Canadian, and how far off topic it would get, so I stopped. He wouldn't understand anyway.

How much of the park are you actually allowed to traverse on foot?

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Magnificent. I'm hopefully going there this summer with my grandpa. The crazy old bastard has always wanted to and after a second heart attack he's not going to waste any time sitting around wanting to go.

                    Amazing views, and nice photos.
I'll go back soon and again when my son will remember it all.

the majority of the North And South side, like any national park. You can even ride down the side of the canyon on mules via a trail that takes about 8-14 hours. Then you can camp and hike down at the bottom.
