i was friends with Steve Schneer (the inventor of the HO HO plant), Bill Danforth, Mark Gonzalas (when he lived in AZ), Steve Alba and Mike Alba, and a bunch of other pros. i was arrested at most of the spots that are in the Wheels of Fire video that are in AZ. we skated them regularly.

that was a long time ago! i quit in 1991/92. i started skating seriously in 1980ish. i am almost 37 now

Wow that is some serious skating. I loved my Venture trucks until they were grinded down to nothing and the threads got fucked. I have my old royals lying around still. I started when I was 13 and stopped when I turned 16. Never been arrested for skating, but I have gotten kicked out of a a lot of spots. Well basically every public area we skated at.

My first skate shoes were halfcab vans. I agree about the new skate shoe thing. When I wore them and rode my board I would feel kind of disconnected from it because of the "poofyness."

Combining the forces of thousands of BMW owners and using all that collective brain power in order to flame someone until they are less than ash is what r3v is all about. Well thats not what r3v is all about, but it's one of r3v's awesome qualities. Which is why I chose to be here rather than on emotech and bf.c.

Look man honestly your lucky that you got off that easy. I had got arrested for graff two years ago while I was still in high school. I spent 45 hours in a damn cell, had to pay 2500 in fines and retribution,18 months of probation, and to top it off I had 100 hours of community service within 6 months. I had to pay all of that within the 6 months on top of it. So imagine how hard it is to be going to school, working making minimum wage to pay off the fines, and while having to have it all done within those six months. If it wasnt done I had to do a year in county.... Yea imagine having to explain to your job how you need hours but you cant because you have to work for free somewhere else. Learn your lesson you got off easy.
