Today is below zero Farenheit (-23 C) and I stay home. I have a few boxes to ship but will wait until 5 PM. I have to go out to buy to sand paper for the cage as well as a round sawsall, but it's too cold outside.

I went in today and it was cloudy, but we decided to go fly anyway and see if the weather got better. It didn't. Flew over a cloud layer at 2500 ft., then down through a hole to fly at 1000 ft to the practice airport. (We could only manage between 700-900 ft for most of the trip there.) It was windy, and gusty, and the weather never got better so instead of doing aerobatics for an hour I practiced landing in winds that were between 20-30% of the airplane's speed around the airport, then went home.

fuck weather, time to go drink.

Work today involved going to work; then leaving 3 hours after I got there (we work 10 hour days) because the water line to the building busted last night and we had no water.

That's a nice looking drawing. Too bad it's NC State :).

But I have been working on adding callouts to CAD drawings and searching top assembly drawings and stuff to get chapter 2 of this particular tech manual done.

What did you do at work today

Its been kinda slow this week so in my free time ive been on solidworks messin around.

the first draft of this thing took maybe 1 or 2 hours to complete all 7 peices of it. This is the finalized version in a quick render with photoworks. Its 8.5 by 11 and ~3 inches thick, its rendered as plastic. If only i could have the machineshop guys cnc it for me, but i dont wanna pay.

Working...
