It doesn't matter WHAT Obama does. He is a democrat. Republican zealots will twist and analyze every little move he makes to reaffirm their skewed idea that he is the anti-christ.

Just like the democrats did with Bush. For all of his failings, Bush did many great things when he was in office (peace/americorps for example). Of course I would never hear about from my parents or from the media (by the way, one of the few reliable, unbiased news-watch organizations did find that a majority of news programing is left-leaning).


Take a step back and realize that the people you hate so much are your fellow Americans. On the grand scale of political ideologies, Republicans and Democrats are really very, very similar. But even if you can't accept the small differences, you must realize that only calm, measured, intelligent debate will ever produce real understanding of one another. You cannot change the mind of somebody you are insulting. If you really wanted to sway people to what you believe to be the greater good, you would be wise to treat them with respect. Respectful in your language and respectful in your evidence (IE real, consequential facts).

It's hard to find unbiased sources. I get my news from BBC and AL Jazeera. I also check CNN from time to time but that is mostly just to hear about what the Headlines are.

Are YOU kidding? Al Jazeera is an award winning news source. It is not aligned with any particular government or organization. It only has a stigma associated with it because it is critical of US policy in the Middle East.
