I've never owned a toaster and always used roommates, well now that I live alone I needed one. This Christmas I got a gift card to Target and finally got over there and found this for 6.99!
Only problem was it was white and I have black/red everything else. No problem Ill fucking paint it! What's the worst that can happen? It was cheap.
Disassembly:
I scuffed all the to-be painted surfaces with steel wool for preparation and painted slowly with heat resistant, engine paint. Let that dry, Then engine Clear coat (lots of it) and baked in my oven at 200 for 30 minutes, then reassembled. Works and looks great!
Complete:
Much better then white.
