It's going to be shit. It's going to look nice, and that's all. Abrams cast way too many High School Musical looking teens in all of the parts, and most of them are a bunch of nobodies that nobody gives a shit to go watch. The only character that looks worth a shit is Spock. I'll probably go see it, but I think it's going to be really bad.

        Agreed.
It has rental written all over it.

Holy fucking shit, it is one of the Tremors.

I forgot that Simon Pegg was in it as Scotty, I'll go just for that.

I will end up going to see this with my father who loves graphics intense remakes of his favorites.

I think it is going to be fun to watch, no doubt. The eye candy alone will be worth admission price. But I'm not expecting ANYTHING in the way of decent writing.

I dunno, after watching the second trailer, I think this movie looks very good. I have never actually watched "Lost" but people seem to like it. J.J. Abrahms might be able to pull it off. Also, "The Dark Knight" proved that Hollywood can still make quality movies.

This reboot could be good. I'm looking foreward to Spock and Scotty.

Not a true reboot because it's time traveling yet again. I've followed TNG and Voyager and watched the essentials of the original series because that was before my time. I'm interested in seeing this and how it works...even though going back earlier than the 24th century would have been a better idea, but of course it wouldn't be Star Trek at that point.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

I'm good friends with one of the original directors of Star Trek and he even says it;s a money making tribute. New visuals, same old stuff.
