Big Zoom Camera

No good Fuji ones I like so I am looking at Sony. They have one for about 200 dollars, pretty small for a 10X, image stabilization etc. And gets pretty good reviews.

Anyone have this exact camera or another reccomendation?
I want around 8 megs, atleast 10x zoom and relatively cheap. This is something for camping, kayaking other trips so it will be outside so I don't want to deal with SLRs. Plus it will probably get dropped into the ocean when I go up to Big Sur.

I have the panasonic lumix fz28. 10mp, 18x optical zoom. awesome camera. it runs around $300, but i've taken a couple thousand pictures with it now and it was well worth the price.

It is nice, those leica lenses are great. too big though.
