          The red part is metal, but the rest is plastic held together with metal bolts and some squishy stuff on the grips.

                          You hook them on a pull up bar. These things are supposedly rated for 300 pounds and I only weight 215. Not sure what the deal is.

                                      A tool to do pull ups... on a pull up bar? Its kind of like, I dont know....Needing a special tool to turn the key in your ignition. Its simple enough, and its right there, just do it.

                                          I weigh a buck fifty and I would not have touched those plastic things with a ten foot pole.

                                          Seeing that makes me glad I didn't act on my impulse to buy those.
