Well I have really wanted a fiat 500. I just came across a fiat 600d in disrepair. It needs a full resto and I do not have any on my plate currently.

Does anyone know much about them? Parts avilability? upgrades?
I would like to go with something a little bigger than the stock 700cc engine. Is there anything else out there that will bolt up or with little modifications it will bolt up?

I thought about building a tube chassis and going with bike power but I think I like the idea of stock or slightly above stock. But the tube chassis and bike engine are still an idea.

Am I crazy for wanting to get into this? The car is cheap....and looks fairly complete.
