I met up with a guy and got a ride in a 500 with a VW powered 2180 roller crank 48 IDAs. He was a tall guy and his head would stick a bit out the sunroof. It was a pretty wild ride...
I drove a 600D for a couple years as a DD. Had like a whopping 30hp and 5-6 of it went to the waterpump/radiator fan!! Still a blast to drive, even fit driving down sidewalks.
Found a guy that was selling off a shit load of new/old-stock 600 and Multipla parts that looked to be from a dealer. All new engine (pistons valves bearings gaskets...) and trans parts that came in very handy for the rebuild.
I was in Columbia for a few months and seen a few driving around, I went to the dealer (the fiat dealer!!) and was able to find some parts that are non existent here. Euro tail lights, fan shroud boot, etc.
Also had one converted to VW engine/trans never really finished it and not registered but was drivable and drove a few times switching plates with my other one.
Wish I still had it....
