    Mac gurus...help!

To make a long story short I was updating a the "Users" on my MacBook Pro the other day; there were some that were unused so I figured I'd get rid of them. I ended up being a dumby and deleted all of the personal files on the entire hard drive!! All of my documents, settings, music, pictures, movies, etc, etc are gone. I back up once a month, but hadn't done so since December. I've lost a month and a half worth of pictures and photoshop files...to top it off some were customer files.

If you have any idea how I might be able to recover some of these files any help would be appreciated. Add anything constructive please!!!

If you're running O/S 10.5, try the "Time Machine" utility, but I believe you have to have it pre-configured in order to use it to retrieve lost/deleted data.

+1 after that I'd take it to the "genius" bar at an apple store and grovel at their feet till they can do something about it.

Those guys are smug hipster assholes. Groveling at their feet is degrading.

I was updating the users and it wanted me to "delete the full account" which sounded good at first...not so much.

All users had access to the same hard drive space and I was in too much of a hurry to read that it was going to go ahead and delete every fucking little thing. I assumed it was going to delete material created by that user only...unfortunately no.

For those playing the "I love to sit in a square box with my pc" game, you'll be happy to know that I'm using a pc right now. So quit your whining.

                      I hate those ID-10T errors.
I had a pretty good one the other day.
