And wishing death by drug overdose. Classy. Guess its completely unacceptable to believe the guy went a little overboard with his partying, a lack of judgement if you will. I don't pay much attention to the Hollywood social scene, but its not like this guy has the rep of Courtney Love or Paris Hilton or something who is always trashed and acting like an idiot.

Your straight edged self-righteousness is really annoying.
Seriously man, go fuck yourself. It had nothing to do with being straightedge, and I'm not self-righteous. And way to go on using my lifestyle as a soapbox to attack me with. I don't care what you, Joaquin, or any of the rest of you people do with your lives. But when you're going to be a guest on a TV show, that someone has invited you to, you don't treat people that way. I would have started laughing even harder after he got all butthurt about people snickering at his "hip-hop career". Give me a fucking break.

If you partied too hard the night before, and you're too fucked up to even answer questions with more than a one word answer, cancel your appearance. The world will not end. The way he behaved on that appearance was insulting to Dave, insulting to the audience, and most of all, to himself. Talk about acting self-righteous, he's sitting up there in that chair like he's too good for everyone in that room and everyone watching. If you're too fucking out of your head to even answer people properly and not act like a dickhead, then stay home. No one would have killed themselves over not getting to see him on Letterman that night.

damn, some of you guys take television a little too seriously. like someone not fitting into the groove of network television is in direct correlation to their worth as a person.

Stay home and look at your walls if that's how you're going to behave when you are a guest on a show. If that's how he acts now, I hope he does follow his brother.

I completely agree. Even the audience was trying to work with him, trying to laugh it off. I would have started booing, if going to watch a celebrity on a talk show was my thing...
