Great game, addictive. Immersive and enjoyable in ways that other quest games aren't; like its sister game Oblivion.

I have it for the 360 and have had no problems with the game. That said, the 360 crapped out (RROD) literally minutes after I hit 20th level! Once I had the 360 back, I got back on the main quest, which I'd tabled since about 7th level to explore. If the console game let you go beyond 20th level, I'd still be exploring and wouldn't have gone back to the main quest. Once you're 20th level, with the weapons and gear that you want, it can get repetitive.

W/o giving away the ending, which I didn't think was "great", the game will end quickly once you get onto the last few chapters of the main quest. W/o giving anything away, Fawkes is a p*ssy!

Anybody play the Anchorage supplement yet? I tried to d/l it yesterday, but had issues.

Nail on head! I "obtained" it as well but have yet to install it. I fear between R3V and that no school work will be done.

try to do all the sidequests first. and when messing with fawkes, don't bring any other npcs with you. as you'll lose them. besides dogmeat. the little bugfucker just wont die.

Dogmeat was not very resilient, and charged right into fights. If you're in a multiple Deathclaw fight, even with Charon at your side, you'd better wrap up the Deathclaws ASAFP, of Dogmeat is dog meat.

I just beat this last night.

I managed to use speech to convince that computer at Raven Rock to end it's life, and blow the place up. That was fun to watch.

In the end I also convinced the Colonel to walk away, and I sacrificed myself to start the purifier.

All of these choices worked their way into the ending.

I got the Experimental MIRV out of the National Guard basements locked vault. It launches 8 mini nukes at once... lol

And the Alien Blaster from the crash site, And a named mini gun. I have more but haven't played in about 2 weeks and don't remember them.

I'm so glad you started this thread, I just picked this up for PS3 last week and I've been completely addicted to it!!

I've been playing for about 15-17 hours, I'm around level 8. That seems low to me, but I've been doing a lot of exploring and side quest stuff. I've only just met Three Dog in the main quest (last night, after another 6-hour stint)

It's getting really fun though, I'm not being overwhelmed by enemies anymore, and I've got a pretty vast amount of weaponry which I keep at my place in Megaton. There's so much to see in this game! It's fun just walking around the Wasteland and stumbling upon stuff you'd never expect.

Oh, a tip.... I've been told that there is a Citadel that you enter at some point in your main quest... once for training, and a second time for plot purposes. Once you enter the second time, you're pretty much on rails to complete the game, so if you want to explore everything the game has to offer as far as other locations and side quests go, that's where you want to stop advancing the main quest. Create a save point, or just run off to do something else. Just a heads up!
