It doesn't fucking matter if I personally have been affected by the Patriot Act. The problem is that it is unconstitutional. Before the Patriot Act there had to be a court order for any search or wiretap, end of story. Now, if they say you're a terrorist, you can be searched or wiretapped and a plethora of other civil rights violations without a court order. In a court room it would all boil down to the definition of terrorist which is very vague. Any sort of legal protection from the government has been removed. You, Mr. Small Government, should be appalled by the Patriot Act.

How in the hell does the blame lie with Obama? He has been President for a month and you're saying that the economic downturn, which started last year, is his fault? What a bunch of horse shit. The fault lies with the banking institutions for loaning money they didn't have. Obama is pointing fingers at the right people and for good reason. People are losing their jobs and their livelihood because of money grubbing capitalist pigs on Wall Street. One keeping my money: The tax cut will put 13 bucks a week in my pocket, while better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. What can you do with a extra 13 a week or 56 a month or 676 a year. really tell me what kind of relief from from huge increase in energy, commodities and food costs is 13 a week gonna give you. Then what are the interest payments on my 13 bucks a week going to cost all of us in the long run including your grand kids that will be paying for this for the next 50 years on down the line. It will have to be paid back by an increase in taxes some where, thus I would rather for go my 13 a week and this huge massive amount of unnecessary spending to keep more of the money I earn over my life time rather than now.

Keep my freedoms: With his socialist agendas will limit my choices in heath care or what my doctor can do for me (all ready passed). He speaks of a national required volunteer service program sounds like a loss of freedom to me.

Keep my guns: Look at the last session of congress there was a bill that did not make it that would effectively ban every gun made HR6257. It was shot down due to the lack of votes. He purposed a while in the IL state senate, a 500% tax on all shooting supplies and a limit on how much ammo you can have and it all must be microstamed. He has the most anti gun voting record in the IL and US senate. If given the chance which he will more than likely get he will take our constitutional 2a rights from all of us, weather it be taxation or any other back door method, or hell it may be a blatant violation of the most sacred government document. Mark my words some type of sweeping gun control measures will be attempted.

You have got a lot to learn about history, Carter strated the sub prime deal in 77 with the Community Reinvestment Act and the strengthened by Clinton. This forced Fanny and Freddie to make loans to people that did not qualify for them. This bolstering of the CRA by Clinton raised the demand for single family owned housing thus the start of the huge rise in home prices due to supply and demand (I assume you have a basic understanding of that) So now you have all these people in homes that they cant afford, and driving the cost of other homes out of reach of people that may have been able to afford one. Forcing these people to take a loan they could not or just barley afford. Well start the rapid increase in oil due to speculation, this was the straw that broke the camels back, well now the economy starts to slow as people cut things out to save fuel not mention the cost of every thing goes up due to the transport and production costs. Thats money not going to other people, that will cause them to not spend as much and then its a domino effect till people start to not make as much money, this slowing of the economy raises interest rates and allt he people that got their house on a ARM or interest only now their payments go up. Well they cant afford the new payment and cant refi it an thus we have the pop and the massive defaults and the dead economy we have now.

Bush did not help matters by letting the banking system run amock and let them fudge the numbers on their balance sheets by selling off these assets as securities to make the numbers look good.

Social health care is necessary and inevitable. A relative from the UK recently visited my family and she was amazed that we have to pay thousands of dollars for health care when it is provided for EVERYONE in her country. It really is disgusting that there are people that are being laid off, at no fault of their own, and they cant continue to get health care. A social health care system would provide health care to EVERYONE. Let me say that one more time for you in case you don't understand what a wonderful thing that is. EVERYONE will have access to health care so that they may not die or be in pain because they cannot afford it. Also, a social health care system does not limit you choice in doctors. If you want "better" care, you still have the freedom to go somewhere else, just remember to continue paying your taxes so that the poor guy down the street can continue getting his meds. Thank you.
