You don't even necessarily have to carry a firearm. A good knife and little know how can do just as good if not better in some situations. On another note, people really need to understand how important it is to be very aware of their surroundings. I would damn near have my hand on my knife if 3 mthfks approached me like that. Take a step back, or to the side, or get somewhere. People are fkd, don't be paranoid but be aware, very aware.

a study was done with a bunch of inmates where they were showed tape of some city streets and asked who they would be most likely to mug. almost every time the inmates pointed out people who had their head phones in, had there heads down, looked tired or sick, or were not paying attention to where they were in some way.
the first thing any cop will tell you is to have your head up and be aware. street smarts. this guy got surrounded by three guys and did not even see this coming.
also if you are going to pull a weapon for self deafens you need to be ready to use it, and you need to know how to use it. if you are not ready to stab shoot or hit the mother fucker he will take your weapon from you and fuck you up.
this is what separates everyday people from thugs like the ones in the video above. they live in, and have most likely gown up around violence like this their whole lives and would not think twice about punching you in the face or stabbing you in the gut. on the other hand most of us have grown up in mostly non violent areas and have not been exposed to violence very much. this makes it harder to commit violence even if it means saving your self from a beat down. many people freeze like a deer in head lights when they get mugged, even people who have taken self defense or martial arts classes or tell them selves that they would be able to defend themselves.
so now that i have said this... do not think twice. do not feel bad. if some one wants to take something from you, or beat you up it is you or them. fuck them up! thats what they would do!

This footage just makes angry!!! and reminds me of when my older brother got mugged half of block away from our house back in like 89'-92' and then 7 punk bitches proceeded to jump him after they took his money!, I went up to the gang of fucking retards with a baseball bat in hand (mind you, I was only 16 at the time) and yes the local gang was black told them to step the fuck up to get a fucking pounding and none of them would get up., 20 motherfuckers didn't have the balls to do shit when I was in front of them, instead they waited to see me get close to the front door of my house to shoot a couple of rounds by the tree in my front yard.
I swear to god and my kids I still called them out and didn't do shit to me or my family again. Needless to say we moved out of that neighborhood a year later.....

i always have a 10" chef's knife in my bag going to and from school. if anyone ever tried anything like this with me they would get 10 inches of german steal sharp enough to skin an elephant in the gut.
one of my friends from culinary school already pulled his knife on a mugger the other night. it worked. guns for show, knives for a pro.
