technical off topic---E38 bearings

since I lurk here daily and I know others do too, maybe one of y'all can help. I suspect the rear wheel bearing on my E38 is bad, I've replace the bearing on my E30 years ago.......is it about the same thing ?? I'm guessing I'll have to pull the axle ?? Anyone tackle this job in their wrenching quests ??? Enough on that, now back to my favorite NWS thread ! ha ! THX

i really don't know, but i think it might be easier than the e30 rear.

I hope so, I tore the E30 all apart and couldnt get the bearing out for the life of me. I ended up putting it back together and called a wrecker. The shop ended up pulling the whole control arm off to get it on a press. pain in the ass
