since when do you HAVE to pay to post? premium membership is an option last time i checked.

this is a recent development, but it is correct. lots of people have a problem with it, moderators included, but we haven't been able to get any movement on it.

1.) No the mods over there don't check PM's

i may not always answer them instantly, but i get to them when i can. i'm lucky my job over here involves me having internet connection, otherwise that'd be a hell of a lot less frequently than it is.

did you, personally, send a PM to a mod and have it ignored? because if not, you're somewhere in between spreading hearsay and simply talking out of your ass. either way, i didn't get anything from you.

i hate the r3v vs e30tech stuff, it is so very lame. lets just enjoy our cars and post where we want whether is be one forum or both?

well, not to split hairs or anything, but it's not really fair to make a generalization about ALL of the moderators when you only sent a message to one of them.

that said- Chris' appearances on the board are becoming fewer and farther between, and these increasingly frequent absences has been making life difficult for management over there for a while. as the site admin, he holds the keys to a lot of regular-maintenance stuff (new account approval foremost among them), and we haven't had a lot of luck getting him to delegate some of this stuff out so we can make the board more autonomous.

so, i'm sorry you got ignored. next time try me, or Bob Loblaw, or iXer, or iflytii- we all log in at least a few times a week. if there's something you still need addressed, shoot me a PM and i'll see what i can do.
