    she finally runs

after way too long she finally starts and is fully functional. i just need to clean up the engine bay and wrap some wires and do a few other things before the maiden voyage. I've backed the car out of the garage and drove it back in but thats as far as ive gone so far.
heres a couple shots of my almost complete engine bay.

you got any specs for the jets? and yes they are 40's, but the motor is not running as smoothly as it should. it also has a 300* cam, so maybe it is, it just sounds way different to me at idle.

I bought them from a guy who ran them on an 02 that had a 292 cam and 9.5:1 cr. I rebuilt them and my engine is very similar to his setup so it's just a matter of adjusting the air fuel mixture screw. My wideand is functional so tuning should be slightly easier

do you know "dap" from the FAQ?? when i was building my stroker car i had lots trouble getting the carbs right. he spent literally a couple hours on the phone with me helping me tune them. that was my first array into webers. i still dont know much but i know a little.
my 40's are maxed out and i really should have 45's. if i were you id at least email him and ask him if the base settings you have are good. heres a very helpful guy.
do you know what idles and mains and chokes you have??
the fact you have a wideband will really help
