i know its mercedes but i saw these videos a while back and just remembered them. David Coulthard in a mclaren f1 takes on a DTM merc racer and two road mercedes'. the lap is run in handicap so the f1 has to make up a LOT of ground, and well, just watch the video! the sound of the f1 just gets me all giddy as it runs through the gears!

Clarkson has a similar race in his "Head to Head" video, except with Fords. And the good kind of Fords, British Fords.

they do this at the grand prix in melbourne. its called the ultimate speed challenge or something. they set off a M coupe then a V8 supercar then a F1 about 30 seconds apart, and the cross the line at the same time. just seening the F1 hit the straight and reel in the other cars is amazing
