Thanks. I made a really pretty flier that I'm going to post up within a 1 mile radius of the house. I'm going to offer $250 for anyone that returns him. I'm also going to email it to every vet in the area, the humane society, SPCA, ect...

This fucking sucks. I just posted $40 worth of color fliers all over the place. I've reduced my reward to $100....apparently $250 is too much? I don't know...I have a hard time placing a value on something like this.

No, he's an indoor only cat.

If he's an indoor cat and not used to being outside then you need to walk around and call for him because he's likely lost and can't find his way back home.

I've had outdoor cats that would take off for a day or two, but they knew their way around.

Hopefully, he's OK and he's sleeping on someone's couch.

Go door to door in your neighborhood and ask if anyone has seen him.

When I was a kid, we had one of our indoor cats get out and was lost for over a week.

Someone about a 1/4 mile away spotted her and we eventually found her in the area, but these type of things don't always turn out that well and the more time that goes by, the worse the odds.

I also had an outdoor cat that didn't come home one night and the outcome wasn't good.

Call the Humane Society to see if he was picked up or turned in by someone.

Good luck with finding him. Hopefully he'll be home soon.

Turf, I hope your kitty comes home soon.

I had a cat that disappeared for a week, when he finally came back he only had half of his tail.

Definately go door to door asking your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. He may be locked in the neighbors shed when they mowed their lawn.

My cat leaves for days at a time, comes back all bloodied up cuz he always gets in a fight with other cats and whatnot. I don't worry anymore.

Some times they get really scared when they get out (if they never go out) and take off and run and have no idea how to get back home.

Yes he will most likely come back, every so often one of ours will escape (all former out door/barn cats) then the neighbors dogs chase em under one of the horse trailers and then I have to go encourage them to come out from under it with a pointy stick. then they dont want to go out for a while.

Raccoons aen't really common here. Opossums, yes. Pat is very athletic though. I don't think anything could really catch him.

mi gato just goes outside and lurks around the backyard but it's always at night so i never go look for her. wake up and go look in the morning and usually find her laying in a tree. probably not an option for your cat though. but like others have said, they know where food and home is. so unless he gets nabbed he's coming back
