I just got my iphone last week. So far I love it, but there are a few quirks I don't like. But the new software should fix many of my problems with it.

From what I hear, they are coming out with new software to download that will allow picture messaging, copy/paste, etc.

They should have done that to the first one. That was one thing that was odd. It could do all this fancy stuff, but not picture text? lol. I kinda wanna get back into teh iphone game. But the price per month was crazyyy. Not on a family plan..just myself.

I don't like that you can't turn the keyboard sideways to make it bigger for texting and email...

Other than that it's fucking awesome! I can play beer pong at work...

But there isnt much that cant be run these days, because of the fact so many college students have them.

And i had apple before college and will continue to use them after. i dont think many people will want to make the switch

The only reason why Apple is doing so well is because they touched on lazy retarded audience that got sick of having a PC that was crammed full of viruses and spyware (ie they cant use a computer and make sound internet browsing decisions) so they were ADVERTISED a Mac that "doesnt get viruses" and is "so simple to use" that you dont even have to think in order to use. Just close your eyes and click. You cant mess anything up!

                lol
But no Mac is very clean and they really took advantage of Microsoft's shortcomings on the Vista release. If Windows Vista would ahve been hailed the greatest operating system of all time, Apples profit margin wouldnt be 245%.

Or they will continue to buy the product if it has worked for them.

The hardware is pricey, I'll give you that. But there are some less expensive options. And sadly, a lot of people don't realize they can get an equivalent PC for a ton less. so they won't care.

The OS is great and what apps do people need that they can't have on their Mac? So many apps are out now that for 95% of users they will have everything they need.

At the moment I'll chalk apple up to a fad, but they are doing very well. Lets see how long they can keep it together.

... as I type this on my new MacBook Pro. hahaha.

It has always been free. And if you didn't already have an iPhone why would you want it?

So, bumpity bump to this thread... cuz I haz a question!

I currently use a BB Curve and have been itching to jump to the Bold. But I just got an offer for the iPhone from my provider that sounds pretty nice to me. I am an iPhone hater, but I do love the features the phone has to offer. Anyone think I should wait and try to cop a good deal on a Bold or jump on the iPhone offer?

Dude, go for it. The Iphone has been nothing but awesome for me, and I though i'd never leave Blackberry and Verizon. I've yet to look back!
