Decriminalizing marijuana is the perfect way to pay for some of the fucking mess that Bush created..Tax the fuck out of it, and make it available!

Besides, we're pretty much one of the few countries left to have the laws we do. Heroin is bad. Marijuana is not bad. It makes up a HUGE part of our economy. Legal or illegal.
In California, its 2/3 of their fucking economy. C'mon Obama! Do us a solid!

How else do you explain the fact he was giggling like a school girl with a crush on a teen idol during the 60 minutes interview?

Even the interviewer asked him "Are you punch drunk?" due to his odd behavior.

Obama was obviously baked. Watch the video if you want proof.

The question was proposed with this "creating jobs" slant, and in that regard I would have blown it off too. If anything people will lose jobs when this stupid "war on drugs" gets shut down.

It should be legalized, but it's a seperate issue, might as well just sit on it until the economic crap dies down.

i smoke a decent amount of grass, when i find the time to be baked, and while i support the notion of decriminalizing marijuana, i dont think our country is ready for it.

              yet.

right now we're losing two wars in the middle east, our economy is in the shitter, and the national unemployment rate is on the rise, rapidly.
obama is a pretty smart guy, and i have a feeling he'll come around on this subject when the time is right.

bigger fish to fry right now. the stoners can wait a minute.

There are so many pros to having it legalized vs. the cons.

                  1. Get thousands of drug offenders out of our overcrowded prisons, and put the real criminals behind bars.

                  2. The government can tax the hell out of it like they do with tobacco and alcohol, which could logically help to revive this economy.

                  3. Marijuana has never proven to cause cancer, an overdose, or even death...EVER! Tobacco and alcohol have claimed the lives of millions.

                  4. As with any other drug, you never know what you're buying off the streets. Legalizing marijuana could ensure the safety of all the use it.

                  5. It's already been legalized in many states for medical purposes, so why not make it a recreational drug.

                  6. IT IS NOT A GATEWAY DRUG! ANYBODY THAT STILL THINKS THIS IS A FUCKING RETARD! :hitler:

                  7. The government could use the money being wasted on anti-marijuana ads, on something actually productive.

                  8. IT'S NOT ADDICTIVE! ANYBODY THAT STILL THINKS THIS IS A FUCKING RETARD! :hitler:

                  9. Life will be more enjoyable for anyone that chooses to use it. :D

Once all the old nay-sayers are dead, it will be legalized. :finger:

My generation will definitely see this happen. It is such a popular drug for a reason. :woowoo:

There are addictive properties, but people are not gonna rob a bank for their "fix". But I will outright say there are addictive properties intertwined with any drug, because the addiction does not lie in the drug, but in the users mind/body attachment.

if your going along that statement it is just as physically addictive than cigarettes. Minus the tar and all that nasty stuff

Weed is not addictive. However, some people are more prone to dependency and addiction then others. Numerous scientific experiments have shown that weed does not have the same addictive effect on humans as is common with tobacco. Alcohol is not necessarily addictive either. Nevertheless it is an outlet that many people grow to depend upon, which leads to alcoholism. Binge eating is an addiction, but you don't see warning labels on Twinkies saying they're addictive. Caffeine is a drug as well, one more addictive then most people think, and yet you find it in many other beverages besides coffee.

I personally use marijuana as a recreational drug in a social setting, I don't sit at home all day and smoke by myself. Whether one would consider me an addict or not is their own opinion.

QFT. Addictive personalities will get addicted to anything. But marijuana still has less addictive properties than tobacco.
