    I don't understand the world.

What the FUCK is wrong with people? I cannot comprehend how anyone could do this to their own flesh and blood. I'm terrified and ashamed of my own species.

This is just the beginning. Economic depressions are ugly times.

I don't think a Recession is the cause of this, some people are just fucking crazy. Otherwise I can't make any sense of such heinous behavior.

        ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

hopelessness, no job, and depression, can push normal people on the edge right over it. Our society is so obsessed with stuff and the pace of it all to just be able to acquire stuff is a huge ball of stress to begin with, and that makes 3 big high profile deals where people have snapped in the last 48 hours.

So now the gun commies have more fuel for their fire, to ban guns, rather than have some sort of positive help line set up for these crazy fuckers to call and get some fucking help.

I am in no way defending these idiots, just saying it can a will happen them more people that lose their jobs, and lose everything they have worked their whole lives for the more shit like this we will be seeing.

^You're saying the "normal" person would already have to be on the "edge"? First, we have to define what "edge" is.

I absolutely believe any person can do some fucked up shit in a state of depression and hopelessness, but shooting your five kids?? I'd have to argue you're already dealing with significant sanity issues for your "edge" to be whether or not you're going to murder your children, and for depression and hopelessness to what pushes you over that "edge".

Oh I fully agree with you, the capability is in everyone of us (no matter the unlikelihood of us doing it) with a gun, bat, knife, car, fists, or a fluffy pillow it dose not matter the tool used we all have the capability to do great harm to one another. Yes you are right the people that pull this shit have to be a bit unstable to begin with IMO as well.

There are some crazy people out there that do some messed up shit. You wouldn't believe the stories I have heard from my father-in-law (detective that specializes in murders and child abuse). I cannot believe what some people do, the extent they do it to, and the lack of emotion or effect it has on them.

This situation is more than the economy if you ask me (obviously that could be a log on the fire though). Unfortunately these types of things happen more than you could imagine.

the world needs to be cleansed. and then we can start over with family values and people who love and nurture their children and raise them to be compassionate and caring of others.
lowlife raise lowlife and every generation is worse. what do we expect when crackheads give birth at age 14 and abandon their kids who then grow up and have another litter at 15. this is societies fault as a whole and it all started with the breakdown of the "family"

I try to meet everyone with an open mind and take rumors about people with a grain of salt, but this helps contribute to the downfall of my social outlook. I think the new style of government should be, "Hey, if you want to be a douchebag, okay! Here is a list of offenses that will send you to Cocksucker County (no offense, homos). If you should commit one of these infractions, you go to live in CC. There are no police, and whatever happens, happens. Don't come crying to me, delinquent - we told you the rules up front! Enjoy a life of misery!" Kinda like a reverse utopian society. If you are over 18 and therefore legally mature and possessing all of the perspective to know better, you may never come back to the regular world. People can visit you in Craptopia, but you now live there, asshole. Great Job!

It's coming, at some point. Whether it be 2012, or shortly (in the cosmic sense) thereafter. Western civilization is rapdily moving toward it's zenith, like Rome before it. It's inevitable, and it will happen. I hate to sound all apocalyptic, but there's no denying that this planet hits the global reset button when necessary.

I'm not saying that I do, but do you blame this on westernization as a whole?
