Not at all, because history has shown that when necessary, this planet is cleansed of what needs to be. Dinosaurs were wiped out for a reason. Early man was wiped out for a reason. The same with the Mayans, Rome, Constantinople, etc. Plague, famine, extinction, I do not believe these to be incidents of cosmic chance.

Look at what's happening is this world and tell me you can't draw stark parallels to the past. Sex and decadence have nearly become normalcy, almost an inverse of morality. Violent crime is at or nearing all time highs. Greed vastly overpowers everything in this world, while the world itself teeters on the edge of total economic and political collapse. We hang by our fingertips on the constant verge of annihilation by weapons the magnitude of which you could never imagine. And I honestly believe that it won't be long before the breaker is flipped and this planet gets the equivalent of a hard reboot.
