I am not a big fan of BFC but do happen to browse the "Track" section once in a while. I stumbled on a thread about Massive brakes. So, I obviously started reading it. Posts were all extremely positive reviews about the product and service. People comparing Massive and UUC, with Massive getting thumbs up, and UUC being criticized for its "cheapy" calipers and design, on what is supposed to be the ultimate kit. So, Handsome Rob chimes in, which is quite legitimate. He even defends his products on a thread related to a competitor. Fine with me. That's fair game. Then starts advertizing a forthcoming kit with "improved" calipers. People can call that, highjacking a thread, but honestlty I don't care. People keep on praising Massive kits and forget about UCC'S stuff. Then somebody starts asking about weight and I simply reply, while adding some miscelanous tech info (that's my first post), being carefull not to offer to sale or whatsoever.
BANG. Next thing I know, I get "Timed Out" or temporarely banned. Few guys contacted me about that. We all think alike. Who do you think "cry babied" the BFC administrators? Hmmm... Let me think. :up:
Ultimately, I don't care that much as I rely more on word of mouth as I trust the quality of what I sell and that's my best advertizing tool, while perhaps some "competitor" may need a lot of talk and "fancy words" to convince noobies to buy their stuff. And the funny outcome is that one of BFC's approved sponsor will be distributing Massive's products and I'll may post again as technical advisor for that sponsor. I still believe in Karma.

. Except that the mentionned plugs are only related to posts on brakes. And let's remember that many times I also expressed that there was a wide selection of suppliers. Not to mention that "brake posts" are only a small percentage of my posts on R3V. I won't plug brake kits in a titty thread. And "massive" would most likely be related to the girl's "assets"
