Technically you are incorrect. Evolution is accepted as scientific fact - where natural selection is considered a theory.
I'm interested in the biblical version of gravity. Intelligent falling?Leave a comment:

I'm sorry - but if you use the bible as a moral foundation then something is wrong with you. The bible is full of horrible things.
If you are "religious" and don't believe in the bible, what's your focal point?
Having that said, I have no respect for those who cherry pick the bible for things they want to believe. All it does is allow you to live your life how you want and morally justify it by disregarding teachings that make you uncomfortable.
This is dangerous because the bible is a big book. Anyone could come up with select verses that support essentially anything - including rape, incest, murder, prostitution, ect.Leave a comment:

You can't "believe in" evolution any more than you can "believe in" gravity! They are both observable phenomena. Faith is not a prerequisite.

Adam, Eve, and Noah's Ark vs. primates evolving into humans.
There are no similarities at all. It is completely illogical to believe "both."
People who take the bible literally are idiots.Leave a comment:

Don't have to believe in bible word for word, but it's a good collection of stories for moral guidance.Leave a comment:

No because the bible is a made up book formatted by fucked up humans who were after controlling people.
Bible thumpers over the years have become very skilled at warping evolution and the bible together.Leave a comment:
