You're mistaken, there's no strawman in my statement. It was intended as a sarcastic comment to broaden the argument, not a refutation.

Thanks for yet another great post! Truly we are indebted to you for your positive contributions to this thread.

His statement was a strawman fallacy, it deserves no further discussion. It took him 13 posts in this thread to actually provide any basis for his criticism of the BLM.

Too bad this guy basically defines the word moocher while he unironically bemoans black people for being welfare queens.

Nice job apologizing for his comments though, really.

The difference is he consented to pay his. Those that started the war were arbitrary.

    That's pretty important.

A demonstrably false statement, as our revolution was prompted by confiscatory taxes.

    I'll try.

I think the simple characterization of Cliven Bundy as a freeloader, and according to Corvallis, a "cocksucker" ignores a larger issue. One federal judge has cited officials of the BLM as engaging in a conspiracy to violate another Nevada rancher's rights. Those officials were later found in contempt of court. The BLM's abhorrent and vindictive behavior bothers me more than Cliven Bundy's "freeloading" because I hold the government to a higher standard.
