Painting bottlecaps

so i drove up to long island and bought 5 bottlecaps with "eh" tires for 60 bucks from a R3V memeber ... now i want to paint them ... i was thinking white ... anybody have other ideas ?? (besides pink for breast cancer)

my friend has a spare set of bottlecaps that he painted white. It came out really nice and looks like some OZ rally wheels now. haha

im searching for tips on sanding and painting right now if anyone has any ideas that would be appreciated. ... i spent like 3hrs with an autozone sand sponge and some 100 grit sandpaper and this is some tediuos shit

all my friend used was some steel wool and then sprayed it. I'm not sure how good the paint will hold up since I didn't see him paint the wheels. I only helped him sand it down with the steel wool.

I've also seen on the forums a set of bottlecaps with the face painted black and the "lip" left unpainted. That doesnt look bad either imo

this is the truth but they will be my "white 60 dollar plus countless hours of sanding my fingers off" bottle caps ...

i just cleaned mine off, the paint is about a year old and only has a few chips in it.
