How do you make a Cherokee euro?

    With Photoshop!

Getting a free jeep cherokee, see if you can make one look like a clean street truck. Or euro. Or jacked up. whatever.

Or pick another american car and "euro" it up.

I wish someone would toss me a free cherokee. I love them things. I have had a handful ranging from 87-92. All but 1 were 5spds. I think they are great daily drivers and they can take a beating. Parts for the most part are rather cheap and they are plentiful in the boneyards. Lord knows I have had them in some rather precarious places. I have been thinkin about picking up another cheap one as a beater to drive to work in the winter since I have to go if theres 2 feet of snow or not. Either that or another 1st gen 4wd dakota.....prolly rather have the truck...I love dakotas more.

Post some pics of your past cherokees! What trucks share a platform with this thing? It would make finding suspension bits much easier.

I have big plans for this thing, and I get the feeling it's gonna be really easy to find parts, not to mention a lot of fun to see all the shit I can fudge.

I think I'm going to have to rig the suspension a bit, but it'll be for the best.

I already have some mods lined up: HR Sports, Bilstein HD Sports, Lamin-X for that eurOh headlight set up, Olive Drab paint with "shadowlined"/shaved everything. I found a cool set of ARE 16x8 wheels with some dunlop 205/75/16s for that stretched butthole look everyone loves.

      I may even "redefine" it.

No takers on making a cherokee look cool? I'm sure someone could do it.

I'm jealous. I want one of these really bad.

If it's free I guess you don't care but lowering it and trying to make it "euro" sounds dumb to me. I guess it will turn out pretty cool in the end since it's just a project but I'm just bitter because I really want to lift one...

Everyone does the lift thing, I just want to see what I can do to make it different. I'm not going to be scraping like those S10 dudes (no offense S10 dudes, looks cool but not for me), but I'm definitely going to want those beefy tires sitting as flush as possible.

If I were better at photoshop I could show you what's in my head, but since I'm not you'll have to take my word for it, it's going to be awesome.

I'll be keeping it in the I6 family too, but with 4 litres instead of 2.5.

If anyone can figure out how to make it look matte green please try, I couldn't get it to work.

If anyone can get some street tires on there that would help too, I'm not going to run swamp stompers.

Take your 16" wheels, got get 30-31" tires with stock suspension height and the tires will be in the wheel wells and prolly rub a little bit. Even 235/75/16's would be close iirc.....They do look nice with a mild lift and some aggressive tires. They really don't share a platform with anything...There was the commanche pickups...but I think about the only thing that was the same was the entire front end. I dont think the rear leaves are a match but I could be wrong. I'll hafta dig around for some photos n see what I come up with.

You got handed a Cheerokee? I would love one as a daily driver, but I couldn't be so lucky to get TWO cars for free. (Free E30 )

                            SC*AR (Schwarz Army)
No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Dude, Im just as partial to cherokees as I am E30's. Seeing this is like me being on a cherokee forum and someone asking "How should I lift this E30 to beat in the woods?" That post would make me wanna puke as does yours, free or not. Heres what you should do with your free cherokee....everything you either cant or wouldnt want to do with your E30! Just enjoy it for what it is
