    Porsche 911 Nuburgring dyno

A Porcshe 911 flat 6 on an engine dyno simulating the engine load and g forces of the Nurburgring Nordschlieffe. I believe they were testing the dry sump oiling system. Pretty cool stuff.

Wow, that's freakin' awesome. That thing probably cost a ton of money though

It's Porsche. I'm pretty sure they can afford it.

I saw this sometime ago but it is freaking awesome, it tells you that Porsche does some serious testing for the 911s

Actually they can't and might be taken over by VW unless they scramble to come up with serious cash.

                ;)

Doesn't Porsche own the major of VW?

Yes, and also was forced to take multi-million dollar loans from VW to stay afloat.

Think of it as a delinquent parent who had to borrow money from their successful child. Now that kid want's his hard earned money back.

Pretty cool. Never seen a Nurburgring simulation made specifically for an engine.

I saw a BMW video almost ten years ago showing their Nurburgring simulator that tested their chasis's for suspension and brake component durability.
