What does resolution have to do with monitor size? It's a 19".

typically larger monitors support higher resolutions. i would be surprised if the native resolution of your 19" monitor was 1024x768 and not 1280x1024 or 1400x1050. the native resolution of, say, a 15" monitor, would be 1024x768 most likely, and 15" monitors are rarely used anymore, and are not even for sale as far as i know. so that is what resolution has to do with monitor size. :)
