          Pardon my camera ignorance. Why not just do an f/8 45 sec?

            with he given lighting conditions 45 seconds would of yielded something along the lines of this:

              they dont add, to put it simply, they average. The 30 second will gice you details in aresas that normally would be to bright, and the 15 second will give you details in the areas the 30 second would have blown out

                Would have gotten light trails behind the glass and also maybe a blurry pic if the tripod was bumped
