No such thing as an '83 Vette: http://www.web-cars.com/corvette/1983.php
Your arguing semantics and the car was originally introduced as an 83 and held over to 84 as mentioned, the fact they made 44 say they made em.

The blade/turbine thing is already kind of played out, although they do look awesome

My buddy just picked up a set of these vette wheels below and I think he's going to try and run them on his Mk2 diesel

They were listed at $500 Au (~$450US) But auction ended with no bids. So I was thinking about e-mailing the guy and lowballing him. but you're right, custom spacers are going to cost almost as much.
Since I've just spent thousands on my simmons, I think I should keep them on for a bit more than a couple months lol
I really do like the "salad shooters" though, so maybe I'll look into it again, when I can afford the whole wheel, spacer, and tyres pakage more comfortably.

Besides, I'm going to look at this on the w.e (which just so happens to also cost $500 hehe)

I'd rather have the Mk.I than the 'vette wheels, besides, the color on that 'dub is tits!

Maybe, maybe not. I got 1.5" 5x4.75 to 5x120 adapters with like 3/8" or 1/2" spacers for the rear, all made out of billet, and it cost me like $150-ish.
