First night shots and new to DSLR

Here are some shots of my friends B6 A4 avant in winter mode. Has 19" RS4 wheels, ECS Vent Mount boost gauge, Stage I APR tune, Forged Diverter Valve, ECS Xenon Fogs, ECS Smoked side markers, ECS LED license plate bulbs and Suede interior trim.

    Coming in spring-
Painted Lowers, S4 Door Blades, Coilovers, ECS tuning roofline spoiler, Black/Red theme, and a few other little things

We were just hanging out and I brought my camera and decided to take some pictures, please let me know what i can improve on and what to do, I am new to the SLR/Shooting thing.

    I know I need a tri-pod. :(
I will hopefully have one soon

    Thanks again guys:-D

try to avoid shooting things (cars) at eye level, never quite works,
ends up looking like used dealer photos.

Tripods are nice, but i would just say, learn to really control your breathing
and hold the camera, ive gotten nearly up to a second long exposures
    sans-tripod/sans-blur.

Yep, ISO looks a tad high. A beginner tip is to read through your manual. It helps a ton knowing all of your camera's aspects. It will also help you escape "auto" mode so you can get the perfect shot. The in car shot with the flash looks decent though.

night shots are pointless without a tripod. period. also, shoot at ISO100.
