A picture I played with tonight

Hey guys, just playing around with my new camera and took a picture of my ipod composed on my bed. It was dark in my room. I edited it and added a blue neon effect to it. Enjoy and comments.

no, just slapping ps filters/effects on a random image is ghey.
Try basic photography and composition first, then learn basic
ps, and im talking about the darkroom aspect of it, sharpening,
color corrections, file management etc.
All the 'cool' and hip things will fall in to place.

i'm not trying to be mean. i can see how you used some interesting effects to change the picture in such a way that i'm sure it looks nothing like the original. I just don't see an ipod.

Haha, no I know. And the Ipod is mostly black with a white boarder. I just made that pic up real quick and I know it is shit and did not take any skills. I just thought that it came out kinda cool and that some might enjoy it.

is exposed.

Ever read Layers or Photoshop User? if not pick up a copy, there's good
projects in those, and help polish up things aswell as open you up to
thinking about all you didn't before.

I do use photoshop in school all the time in my photo and design classes. This picture was done in my dorm and I don't have p shop on my laptop. I def need to get more practice with it and I hope to come up with some better stuff down the road pretty soon. When I get something else that I like I will post it up for you guys to check out.

just keep practicing, and listen to the teachers, they know what
they're talking about (or should anyway).
