    P-Shop Request

    I have an image located here;

    And my photoshop isn't working or i'm retarded. I'm leaning toward the later.

    Anyway, I need this image kept at full scale and basically tiled to cover an area measuring 10ft x 54in. And the black needs a little cleaning.

    Would anyone be able to lend a hand? Take a look at the image an let me know.

    Thanks

      Thats a really big image to tile over such a large area. Does it need to remain at 300dpi? Normally when printing something that large, for a wall covering or construction wrap, the file will be 600dpi and 1/6th the physical dimensions. Then the printer scales it up to full size at 100dpi. Follow that logic?

      I have a zipped PSB file for you if you can use it, but it is 49.4mb zipped and 732mb unzipped.

      I'll get you a web address shortly...

          I somewhat follow your logic. I was using pixelmator on a Mac to work with it, but I had no way to tell the actual size Once I copied tiled the image. This image will be used for a vinyl wrap on the hood and trunk of an E30. I'll post the completed job once I get it printed. I am DL'ing your file right now on a high jacked internet connection at 18k per second. So when it's done in an hour (LOL) i'll be sending it to my graphics guy.

          So my question is, with what you did to it, will the quality be good enough to print and still retain clean lines?

          Thank you Monkey

            Okay. So I have it downloaded and the file appears on my desktop as "HT-Freebie.zip"

            When I open it, the file converts to "HT-Freebie.zip.cpgz"

            And then when I open that, it opens another file titled the same as the first. And so on....

            Do I need to open this with a specific program? I am using the new iMac with Snow Leopard if that matters.

              try using a program like WinRar, free for what you need.

              WinRAR is a Windows data compression tool that focuses on the RAR and ZIP data compression formats for all Windows users. Supports RAR, ZIP, CAB, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZip, UUE, ISO, BZIP2, Z and 7-Zip
