I think it just ranges from beach to beach. Westport.. no but then you go 10 minutes south to Grayland and all clear!

I've been meaning to go out and drive on a beach since I got my iX this summer.

I lost a car while driving on long beach in BC Canada...I went a bit in the water and the engine stopped. No way to restart it. And with every wave getting it deaper in the sand, it was impossible to push it out of the water. Since it was low tide...the tide went up and there was water over the top of the car. It was a total lost.

So, be carefull and don't get crazy like me and go a bit in water, just for fun...

Moreover, Salty water is not the best for car.
