the M showroom in singapore, what a find!

went to singapore to see the F1 race, and while i was there, i went to take a look at the world's first (and so far only) official M showroom!

    main entrance

    showroom display

limited edition frozen gray e90 M3 competiton package on display and for sale!

    those brakes mean business

    spying on the service area

    dream garage

e46 M3 CSL still demands respect

    underneath the e92 M3

    mean-looking X6 M getting its windows tinted

M6 individual, sporting that beautiful frozen gray paint

i spot this in the corner... it's got nogaro gray wheels... evo trim... those look like SRDs...

    alcantara steering wheel! holy crap!

it's the only sport evo i've ever seen in the flesh! the owner of the M dealer bought this car from europe and shipped it to singapore for his private collection. it's in the process of being restored, with all-original parts coming from BMW Heritage.

amazing that among all the newer, more powerful M cars, the e30 is still the star of the show...

massive ups to anthony (the owner of the dealership) and robert (old friend and parts dept head) for letting me and my buddies tour around the place and letting us sit in the cars!

That Frozen Grey m6 has something up with it. The back is painted right, but the front is glossy. Thats not correct, what gives?

Nope, the front is glossy. Frozen grey is satin. Look at the door and the rear 1/4 panel vs the fender and the sideskirt. Then go look at the m3 pic. Something is goofy with that m5 paint.

Looks like a gloss clear bra on the whole front and the rockers, gay looking. The Frozen grey E92 M3 I'v seen in person had a matte clear bra and it still changed the look of the paint.

I was thinking the same thing about that M6... and in that pic above, it's hard to tell, but definitely noticeable when you see the break in the bra.. Shame really.

if it is a bra, that would make sense. they've got an M club there, and they take road trips to malaysia. they said as soon as they cross the singapore/malaysia border, there are no speed limits, and they cruise at around 250 kph (155 mph) and sometimes go for top speed runs up to 300kph (188 mph). at anywhere near those speeds, you want as much protection as possible!
