    Design a houndstooth

I was thinking that the silhouette of an e30 might work for a pattern.

Houndstooth is pretty popular for interiors, and blue is rather rare for the different colors it came in. If you've got sport seats in blue/black houndstooth, you've struck gold. Otherwise they're nothing too special.

            They'll look sporty. Haha.

I've got houndstooth too, but they're on comfort seats and the driver's seat bottom is torn. Everything else is perfect though. I'm keeping it. ;)

I'm so confused as to what the OP wants, is it a new pattern using an E30 silhouette instead of the houndstooth shape? Cause that won't work.

Yes, that was the point of this thread.

How much do you want for it? I'll road trip down to ABQ for that if the price is right!

That may be true! But there are a lot of things I want and can't have. Haha. :(

Yeah, to make a design pattern that repeats you basically need to take a square, cut an outline in one side, add that cutout to the opposite side, then do the same to the adjacent sides of the square. That's the only way to make a repeating pattern design.

Just made this quickly in Illustrator using the R3V logo as a basis. Doesn't look right.. cool idea, but I dunno, something just isn't working

Nice job. It's not a true 'pattern', but it gets the job done. I'm still trying to decide what the object in white is. Kind of like a dune-buggy?

2nd times a charm? IDK, better than the first one, but something still is funny..kinda looks like a tire tread or something..
