How to edit this?

I took these pics today of an alfetta. I have no clue to get the effect I want.

I want the lights highly contrasted. Like alot, and the rest desaturated like 85%. I got this sepia effect messing around with the channel mixer

Just a few. About the car...

It is a 1979 Alfa Romeo Alfetta. Neat car, with the 2.0 I4 and a transaxle. It has rear de dion suspension, that he lowered the ghetto way (with a blow torch). Sports springs going in soon. He has had for over a decade, and the paint is within that time. Those mudlflaps are oem new old stock, and the new tip on the pipe is new. The wheels I believe to be special edition. Pretty bitchin'... and of course it gots the 5 speed.

And those aren't real Cibie SuperOscars, chinese eBay knock offs. Haha he also has a 70's 2CV, a Peugeot 505 turbo, 505 wagon (both 80's ones), a Saab 95 wagon (fresh paint) and a few lambrettas and other scooters. Hes awesome.

The Port Townsend Euro Cruise will feature this sucker. Haha you should go!

Like I went into curves in gimp, and took the curve and just made the center bottom right corner, made everything black except lights and roof where sun was hitting it. I want the lights to look the same they did then

I do most of my simple stuff just using photobucket, I had a pshop knockoff program on my other computer but have not put a new one on my current computer.

I can get the two pics I want, I just CANNOT get them to merge together. And using a mask makes them stand out way too much

Still the more I look at the sepia, the nicer it looks
