Oh see now I'm getting the whole pic, I looked at it on my phone first and didn't even get to appreciate the waist down!
I'm not having any lucks finding the wheels I want on a car, I'll have to look harder.Leave a comment:

it's cool, no worries. i'm just making an example out of you because a lot of people don't understand.
this is how the same pic looks with me using the same process, but with your donor pic. the wheels have a white background, lips have no depth because the donor pic was taken from so close, and i had to use the same wheel for both front and back (while the stock wheels in the e21 pic are clearly at different angles)

Yeah, understood, will look for them, but those of us who have never photoshopped have no idea what is required to do so. Can't the second two wheels be rotated in photoshop and used? This is new to me so bear with me.Leave a comment:

If you don't get it yet...
you gave some terrible wheel pictures. find a usable pic of the wheels actually on a car, then someone will give you a real photoshop. i never understood why people thought studio wheel pictures would work out. photoshop is just copying and pasting images, obviously an all white background and bad angles are no good. one of the pictures even says "MotorsportsR" right over the wheel, making it totally unusable in the first place without an hour of work.
edit: heres an example.
THIS is a good donor picture for the wheels, because they're at similar angles (front and back.) The red is much easier to change around than the photographed angle of the wheel.

and here's the result from that donor picture. this took me between 4 and 5 minutes to do and it looks decent, compared to a 1 hour job that would look like poopy.

Even you Joel! I actually was thinking about how sweet my Alpina would look perched high upon a mountain top with a homeless flying torso throwing rims at it...now how about a real pic?Leave a comment:
