    Car show + new photographer = ?

Hey guys. This past Saturday the UW chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon (my fraternity) hosted our annual car show in Red Square to benefit PAWS. A friend of mine brought along his camera and let me have at it. I am in no way an experienced photographer. I'm about as green as they come. My mom does a lot of photography, though, so I have a lot of her wisdom floating around in my head. Anyway, I thought I'd throw you guys this photobucket link and see if you had any comments and/or criticisms as far as technique in the photography or the editing. A note on the editing, though: there are one or two pictures where I intentionally blew up the contrast, just for fun. Otherwise, have at it. TIA.

The body was a Nikon D90. I wish I could tell you what the lens was. The camera belongs to my buddy's dad's office.
