To be honest, I prefer the LS wheels from Ronal but I don't know nothing about wheel prices. I had a 2004 Town Car before so no pimpin' really... The LS are 900 shipped from TunerUSA :-? I've got the cash it's just that I'm not sure how much I could get for the ones I have right now.

On to The Duellists as I'm typing this.

Edit: I like how you mention it's easy and then right at the beginning it states "Before you foolishly start on this project, I want you to all know how involving and skillful a conversion this is. It requires in depth fabrication, modification, material forming and some electrical work. This is not something most people can, or should attempt. If you are not sure that you possess the skills to properly pull the conversion off, then leave it to the professionals. No one likes halfass fitted body parts." I, too, don't like halfass fitted body parts. No way I'm giving money to a profesionnal for that. The bumpers I have right now won't affect the way the car handles, unlike a set of PSS9's, steering rack and shifter.

      Here's a reminder: don't paint your grills.

I'll do it with the spares (they're broken anyway). If I'm gonna throw them away, why not have fun with them a bit.

Found an iPhone App that I could do what I asked for with. I took a picture of an awesome M3 I already had in my library because this one is shot from the very front so that was a good start point. The first one is the grilles only, the second one also has the center part of the kidney in red.

          What do you guys think?

Paint them black. Keep kidneys chrome. It's classier and doesn't look like 80's trash. If anything, do a nice tri-color stripe (either ///M or the German flag colors) up one side, at an angle.

Your car looks great as is, painted grills will look silly on such a clean car.

They won't look anything like that picture once actually painted.

Kidneys will stay chrome. Blacked out kidneys look like crap.

The fabrication part only implies to 84-87. It's really as simple as this; (rear) remove 4-6 screws from the rear and remove bumper, then continue by removing big heavy ugly shocks, replace with 88+ shocks and bumpers and pretty much the same for the front. You'll have plastic bumpers on, in no time.

mods, can we make this a saved response? i see this in every thread (unless it's been done to the car) and it would save us some time here. thanks!

I think you're in the wrong forum if you want to prevent people from changing their car's look.. It isn't the PS forum for no reason, it's because people want PS'd drop, wheels, etc.

By all means, go ahead and waste your time/money to make your very nice car look bad.

I'm sure I'm not the first one to ask for something weird in the Photoshop forum. That's what it's for. Doesn't cost money and is just as amusing and useful as stiching a big pair of breasts on Miley Cyrus.
