    BMW 700 powered Formula car

We got this car all spiffed up a couple of weeks ago and I shot some pictures in the alley way. I'm not the best photographer so please forgive the less-than-stellar pics. Will have it out for the SoCalVintageBMW meet in October this year.

Car is a 1962/63 Legrand Cheetah which once raced in the now defunct formula 4 series. It's powered by the flat v-twin out of an old BMW 700. Jeff now races it against vintage formula vee's (VARA) when he's not in an '02.

Think it's around 65hp right now, playing around with some different intake setups. It weighs right around 445 pounds.

Not the fastest car in the world, once you get the momentum going though......
