ok well i decided to change it up. I'm shooting the rims in all black, and then either silver or body colour for the lip. I really did like the gold, but it didnt really match the rest of the car. I just painted the car grigio scuro met (lambo colour) and I think the gold would have been too much contrast, even for a winter rim.

black lip with gold is better combo but will make the wheel look small since the lip will blend with the tire and the gold face will pop...

Isn't this car going to be blue now??? I vote neither; the paint will offer enough contrast, make the rims standard bright silver.

I'd do just gold because with a black lip the tire side walls will look even bigger than they already are...

Sand em real well and clean all that shitty paint off. Dismount tires. Bring to local body shop and have em sprayed single stage Black. Remount tires, enjoy.

I already re-sprayed these black, they look fucking great. Car is going blue so gold rims would be way to subaru-ish.
