    Anyone here running E38 8x16 style 5 with polished lips?
    Can't decide to go for it or not

    it is an appropriate wheel style for a polished lip, and will look pretty awesome that way.

          search, style 5's have blown up on e30's.

            I started out just to fix some curbage and thought I would give a polish a try... they have not been final polish yet in the pics

            Did a search first to see if it had been done and didn't find much on ones with polished lips just this thread so here are a couple and my ghetto process :)

                          Can't imagine doing them by hand only :eeek: they came out nice tho!

                          Ended up putting about 100 miles on to get them filed/sanded/polished out
                          Mounted up the tires to the rims myself but still need to get them balanced :)
