hey guys, i need some good, valuble input on which you think is better, the Nikon or the Canon and I want your opinion on why. I have both likes and dislikes on both cameras and dont know which to get. any input would be helfpful, especially from someone who has one.

Canon 20D is a better camera in everyway than a D70... plus the canon senor is better anyways... and canon lenses are generally better

Theres a good review of the EOS20D here (this site helped me a lot when deciding on getting a d50) : http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos20d/

They also have a review for the D70 (non s) which differs in a few things such as auto focus accuracy, 2.0" lcd, and better flash coverage.

          Hope this helps

canon all the way, the accessories are cheaper and it shoots 10 times better because the canon lenses have WAY better glass in them and a bigger sensor. One more thing, the Nikon software isn't as accessible either. I've shot with Canon EOS cameras for over 14 years and I could never switch to a Nikon now.
