    To reduce noise get a tripod and set the camera up with a long exposure and low ISO (100-200) and a small aperture (F13-F22). You really need a half decent DSLR to be honest. I'd suggest a Canon Rebel XTi, Rebel T2i, or Rebel T3i. All recently priced great DSLR's.
